1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using resumeGo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

resumeGo is a resume hosting platform that allows you to upload PDF resumes and share them via vanity URLs (e.g., resumego.link/your-name/your-resume). The service includes resume management, version control, and view analytics.

3. Account Registration

You must sign in with a Google or GitHub account to use resumeGo. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. One person may not maintain more than one account.

4. Usernames

During onboarding, you claim a unique username that forms part of your public URLs. Usernames are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to reclaim or reassign usernames that are inactive, misleading, or violate these terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use resumeGo to:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or violates the rights of others.
• Upload files that contain malware, viruses, or malicious code.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Upload documents that are not resumes or CVs.
• Abuse the service infrastructure, including automated bulk uploads or scraping.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.

6. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of the resumes you upload. By using the service, you grant resumego a limited, non-exclusive license to store, serve, and display your documents as necessary to operate the service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

7. Intellectual Property

The resumeGo service, including its source code, design, user interface, branding, and documentation, is proprietary and protected by copyright. All rights are reserved. No part of the service may be copied, reproduced, reverse-engineered, or redistributed in any form without prior written permission from the owner.

8. File Requirements

Uploaded files must be valid PDFs, no larger than 3MB, and no longer than 5 pages. We reserve the right to reject files that do not meet these requirements or that are flagged by our security scanning.

9. Public Links

When you create a vanity URL for a resume, it becomes accessible to anyone with the link. You are responsible for managing who you share your links with. You can delete a resume or change its URL slug at any time, but previously shared links may no longer work after changes.

10. Service Availability

We strive to keep resumego available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. You can check real-time service status at status.resumego.link. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without prior notice.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, without prior notice, if you violate these terms, misuse the service, or upload content that is not a legitimate resume. Upon termination for any reason, all associated data, including your account information, uploaded resumes, and analytics, will be permanently deleted. We are under no obligation to provide a backup or export of your data in cases of abuse or violation.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, resumego and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, missed opportunities, or service interruptions.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the date at the top. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
